Paphos & Aphrodite’s Rock – A Journey Through History & Mythology

Embark on a fascinating journey to Paphos, a UNESCO World Heritage city, and discover the rich history, mythology, and breathtaking landscapes of western Cyprus. This excursion takes you through ancient ruins, Greek mythology, and charming villages, offering a perfect mix of culture, sightseeing, and relaxation.

Our first stop is Ancient Curium, one of Cyprus’ most significant archaeological sites. Perched on a 100-meter-high cliff overlooking Episkopi Bay, this Greco-Roman marvel features a stunning amphitheater, gladiator grounds, and intricate mosaics in the House of Eustolios.

Next, we drive to Paphos, where you’ll have the option to visit the House of Dionysus, home to some of the most impressive Roman mosaics in the Mediterranean (optional extra). You will also have free time to explore Paphos Harbour, stroll along the waterfront, or enjoy lunch at one of the charming seaside tavernas (optional extra).

As we make our way back, we stop at Geroskipou, a traditional Cypriot village where you can sample and purchase “Loukoumi”, the famous Cyprus Delight, made here since 1895.

Our final stop is the legendary Rock of Aphrodite, where, according to Greek mythology, the goddess of beauty and love emerged from the sea foam. This iconic spot offers stunning coastal views, and legend has it that swimming around the rock grants eternal beauty!

📝 Important Notes:

  • The visit to the House of Dionysus is optional (entrance fee not included).
  • Bring comfortable walking shoes, as some sites require walking over uneven ground.
  • Bring swimwear & towels if you wish to swim at Aphrodite’s Rock.

Privacy Policy

The exact pick-up point and time is given at the time of the booking. Passengers are requested to be ready at their pick-up point 5 minutes earlier.

Prices include transportation from your hotel (or from a nearby pick-up point), service of CTO (Cyprus Tourism Organization) approved guides and entrance fees for the archaeological sites mentioned in this brochure (unless the site is marked as optional extra).

Lunch is not included in the prices.

Passengers that fail to give a cancellation notice at least 24 hours before their pick-up time and passengers that do not show up on the day of the excursion, for any reason including sickness, forfeit all monies paid. Full refund can be given only if passengers give a cancellation notice more than 24 hours before their pick-up time.

Front seat can be reserved only for pregnant women and people with walking disabilities.
