Nicosia, Troodos Mountains & Limassol – A Journey Through Cyprus

Embark on a captivating full-day excursion that takes you through the heart of Cyprus, where history, culture, and natural beauty come together. Travel through traditional villages, scenic mountain landscapes, and two of the island’s most important cities – Nicosia & Limassol!

Our journey begins with a visit to Nicosia, the last divided capital in the world. Here, you’ll have free time to explore the Walled Old Town Center, enjoy a coffee, or walk up to the “Green Line”, the border that has separated the city since 1974.

Next, we drive through the Troodos Mountain range to visit the Virgin Mary of Asinou Church, a 12th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site. This small yet remarkable Byzantine church is adorned with some of the most breathtaking frescoes in Cyprus, offering a glimpse into the island’s deep-rooted religious history.

We then continue to Troodos Square, the highest point of the mountains, where you’ll have free time for lunch (optional extra). This picturesque location, surrounded by lush pine forests, provides stunning panoramic views and a chance to experience the island’s natural beauty at its finest.

Our final stop is Limassol, the vibrant and cosmopolitan coastal city. Enjoy some free time to explore its scenic seafront, bustling streets, or simply relax at one of the charming cafés before we head back.

Important Notes:

• Visitors must dress appropriately when visiting religious sites – no tank tops or shorts for men or women at Virgin Mary of Asinou Church.
